Op Shop Fashion Parade

On Wednesday 18 May we hosted our Club Lunch…this time with a difference! Between main course and dessert, we held a fashion parade which showcased some lovely garments from our Club Op Shop.

You can see how professional our stunning models Rae, Carol, Jan, Louise and Rosalie looked, as well as the debonair Roy who escorted bride Carol. Our amazing compere Jane kept the proceedings flowing and seemed made for the job, ad libs, jokes and all!

Everyone who attended enjoyed the parade and the delicious food. As always, many thanks go to the volunteers who organized this great event. We were delighted to welcome a group from Southern Seniors, McLaren Vale who emailed the following kind words afterwards:

“Just a brief note to say a huge thank you to you and your band of volunteers for making our Seniors feel so welcome on Wednesday, and also for the lovely meal you all provided.

“We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and would love to visit again. The food was amazing!!! The Fashion show was a lot of fun. Please pass on our thanks to everyone”.

Such lovely feedback to receive, and we certainly hope the members of both our clubs can combine for more events in the future!
