Happy New Year

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and that the year ahead will be a
good one for all of us. We look forward to seeing you at the Club in 2026!

There were busy times at the Club in the lead up to Christmas. At the beginning of December a large group of members enjoyed a bus trip to Harbour Town, for some Christmas shopping. Our bus trips are always a lot of fun, and this one was no exception!
During the following weeks, our activity groups had their end of year celebrations.

Thank you to our convenors, for again giving their time this year to co-ordinate the weekly programs. Activities start up again soon, as listed in the table to the right.

Our hospitality volunteers achieved a new “Personal Best” in December. They catered for both the Men’s Probus & the Men’s Shed Christmas functions. The Yankalilla Area School staff held a break up in our Bistro/Bar room, and we also hosted a Christmas Concert for a local music teacher.

The final event on this year’s calendar was our Club Christmas Lunch, which was greatly enjoyed by all. Our hardworking kitchen and bar volunteers are now looking forward to a well-earned break!

Thank you also to our amazing Op Shop volunteers, who always have an extra busy time during the holiday season.
