Op Shop News

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our wonderful Op Shop volunteers.

The Christmas / New Year holiday season was an extremely busy time in the shop. Our volunteers worked very hard and did a roaring trade.

They also had working bees to sort huge volumes of donations and re-organise the storage shed. Thank you all so much!

On a different note, it was disappointing that extra work was made by somebody one evening. This person, or people, tore open donated bags left on the verandah overnight.

They not only went through the items, taking what they wanted, but also left discarded items strewn around the front of the shop. Our hard-working volunteers didn’t need to find, and clean up, that mess when they arrived the next morning.

We are always looking for more volunteers to assist at the shop. If you can spare just an hour or two each week, or even can assist on a one-off basis, we would love to hear from you!
