Annual General Meeting 2021

At the AGM, President Louise Allstrom reported that the Club has had a successful year, with many highlights. The meeting room has been renovated and is now a craft/games room complete with darts and pool table. The Men’s Shed provided us with a new garden shed and they are now using our old shed for extra working space. We held many successful events and functions, both Club based and for outside groups.

Some valuable suggestions were received via our survey, so the committee will be looking at these in future meetings.

Treasurer Bjorn Nilsson reported that the Club had a successful year financially. The Op Shop performed particularly well, and Bjorn thanked the Shop volunteers for their hard work. Events and private functions, in conjunction with the bar, are also bringing in valuable revenue.

Voting was conducted for two vacant positions on the Management Committee. Congratulations to Lesley Miller, our incoming Secretary, and Sally Withers who retained her committee position.
