Club Fleurieu New Brand
President Malcolm Schlein made a surprise announcement at the monthly lunch of the Yankalilla Over 50’s Club on 16th September. “We need to create a new image and logo” Malcolm said. “Over 50’s is not sending out the right message to the community. I came up with the name and Steve Russo of Popgroup has come up with a brilliant logo. The committee and I think this will go a long way to attracting new members and will be an asset to marketing our Hall for weddings, conferences and any events. We have an exciting time ahead” he enthused “and this is just the beginning!”
He went on to explain that “Club Fleurieu is a marketing concept and the management committee’s structure for the Over 50’s Club is still the governing body controlling assets and finances of the Club. The name “Club Fleurieu” has been canvassed throughout the community and has received wide acclaim. Our signs will be changed to reflect the new name we will always refer to our Club as “Club Fleurieu” in the future.”
