Council Bus To Pick Up Members For Lunch

Another “first” for May is the partnership between Club Fleurieu and the Council to provide the Council Bus to pick up members for the Club Lunch.

This service is on a trial basis for 3 months (May/June/July) and will continue only if members use the service. It is an opportunity to enjoy the lunch without having to worry about driving especially with the wet weather over winter months and the service will be good for those who enjoy wine or beer with their lunch.

Any members who have friends or neighbours who do not get out much are encouraged to “spread the word”. While the service is for members (as the Club is subsidising the cost) for non-members it is a good opportunity to become a member and enjoy lunches and meet new people.
