Club Fleurieu was decked out in racing colours with balloons and photos of past winners for the Melbourne Cup Lunch. Guests enjoyed champagne on arrival and a great lunch to follow.
All entered into the spirit of the day with many women dressed in finery and glamorous hats.
Michelle Van Berkel won the prize for best dressed. Everybody enjoyed watching the race on the big screen and loud cheers were heard when the first woman jockey won the big race.
