New Committee Member – Louise Allstrom
At the Club Fleurieu December committee meeting, Louise Allstrom was appointed to the committee vacancy. Louise comes with a wealth of experience having recently served on Council as Deputy Major and established and became President of Fleurieu Traders. She is currently on Yankalilla Area School Governing Council and Yankalilla Community Children’s Centre. She operated “Hooked on Books” in Normanville for over seven years.
Louise takes up the role of Events Co-ordinator at club fleurieu and is excited about the activities planned for this year. “Results of the survey indicated that many members were looking for things to do on weekends” Louise said.
“We have some great ideas and I have a good team to work with to make them happen. We have a “Bush Extravaganza” on February 27th which promises to be a great night. Bob Magor will be entertaining us with his bush poetry and the team is preparing a delightful 3 Course dinner on a bush theme. It will be a night not to be missed!”
