Festival Fleurieu

What a wonderful, busy time we had at the Club during the Festival! The events we held were all a great success and there really was something for everyone.

We began the Festival by dancing the night away at our “Rockin’ at the Club” event, and ended the same way at Wendy & Phil’s “Sounds of the 70s” evening! Fabulous fashion and food was enjoyed by all at our “Very Fashionable Lunch”.

On Good Friday the Club was a hub of activity with our children’s Craft Day followed by a delicious Fish Feast in the evening. Peter Goers & Sandy McMenamin’s show was very entertaining, and the Festival Choir, together with the Male Voice Choir, presented a delightful afternoon of songs.

Many thanks to our Committee for all their efforts during the Festival – there is so much “behind the scenes” work to ensure all events run smoothly. Extra special thanks to all the volunteers, both members and non members, who stepped up and helped so much, in so many ways. We’re looking forward to the next Festival already!
