St Patricks Day Lunch – Wednesday, March 16 at 12 noon.
If you have not booked, ring Christine on 8558-2053 or drop into Club Fleurieu and put your name down for the St. Patrick’s Day lunch at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 16.
The delicious lunch planned is a choice of Irish Beef Guiness Stew with mashed potato, steamed veggies and crusty bread or Roast Chicken with mash potato, steam veggies and gravy followed by apple crumble with ice cream or fresh fruit salad and tea and coffee. We will be entertained by The Singing Gallery which was established in 1992 when Dave Clark & his friend Jim Fletcher purchased the former Congregational Church in McLaren Vale.
Dave toured as a folk singer for many years but wanted to establish a Music Centre where he could present concerts and foster local music and culture. The Singing Gallery has gone from strength to strength since then and they will entertain us for St Patricks Day (early on 16th March) with popular Irish ballads jigs and reels. Our St Patrick’s Day will be a fun day with prizes for the best hat and for the best costume.
