The Threads Group is hosting an open day where members will be working on current projects. There will also be a display of completed works. Members not only quilt, but are involved in a number of other craft projects, hand embroidery, postcard making and doll making.

Meet the group of the Men's Shed on our open day and see their work in progress. There is a great friendly atmosphere at the shed and it is a good opportunity to look around, have a chat, see what we are working on, and hear about our future projects. The coffee is always on.

An intriguing display of embroidered items for a dolls house, including petit point samplers, cushions, etc., and also miniature lace. Most items are in 1:12 scale, although a few are 1:24. Margaret Morgan is a Fellow of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans.

Club Fleurieu Mosaic Group are exhibiting their creations from trivets to tables, animals to garden pots. These objects take on their own magic when decorated with coloured light reflective tiles. Innovative ideas involve using china, beads, glass, pebbles, mirror and shells to compliment the tiles. Applying mosaics with imagination can transform everyday things into a […]
